A buddy of mine hates the so-called "rich kids" in our school, I think when she talks about them, shes less referring their wealth but more so in terms of their behavior. I like to nod along when she goes on about how obnoxious or judgmental or annoying or look-alike/act-alike some of those people are. I nod not because I genuinely believe that I hate "those" people, but because I like to think by denying a specific class or a certain characteristics of it, I'm better identifying myself with the particular class that "we" belong to (if that makes sense). When I saw them peoples working themselves up over seemingly minute matters like what brand of bread or grocery store should they have available to them, it wasn't too hard to relate to their struggle to identify.

Class is everything, it's now apparently apparent, even here in America. It dictates everything from where you sleep to what you wear to what you eat. The whole concept really gets you fired up don't it, another buddy of mine is a genuine communist, now if only she were here in our class...
